I'm a former military wife and homeschooling mom of two Twice Exceptional sons. That's typically abbreviated 2e these days, but was typically abbreviated 2xe or 2xE on TAGMAX back in the day, thus the description in the header.
I ended up briefly being Director of Community Life for The TAG Project which helped me attend a Beyond IQ conference in the Boston area. I learned that no school was really capable of doing right by my high IQ, special needs kids and I continued homeschooling them after we moved away from the lousy school system that compelled us to go the homeschooling route.
